graders will be taking a first year of World Cultures, covering world history through the year 1000 AD. For this year all ninth graders and tenth graders will be taking the second half of that course, World History from 1000 AD through the present. A World Geography class will be offered to 10th graders, but that will not begin until the 1997-98 school year.
