Some of the pictures are titled “Window Series # x.” In most of these there is a slight suggestion of a frame or a space into or beyond, but there is very little space created in these pictures. One is called “Wood’s Edge” where a tree trunk can be implied apd the earth colors evoke a dark landscape area.
Ms. Magrab successfully avoids suggesting anything concrete to the viewer — a difficult accomplishment as anyone who finds camels and elephants in clouds knows. Not a few combine colors like lavender, blue and yellow, or peach, lavender and purple in an attractive way.
This is an exhibition for persons looking for moods that especially favorite colors and their association can provoke.
