Clara Broyles
Mrs. Clara J. Broyles, of Culpeper died Tuesday, July 9 at her residence.
She was bom in'Rappahannock County.
She was preceded in death by her father, William H. Jenkins, her mother, Agnes Dodson Jenkins and her husband, James A. Broyles.
She is survived by two sons, James A. “Bobby” Broyles, Jr. of Culpeper and William L. “Buddy” Broyles of Culpeper and three grandchildren.
She is also survived by two sisters, Helen Fox of Culpeper and Ruby Leake of Sperryville.
Graveside services were held Thursday, July 11 at the Robinson River Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Brightwood.
Clore Funeral Home in Culpeper was in charge of the arrangements.
Frank Evans
Frank Evans, 70, of Annandale, died at his home on July 1.
He had worked for the government for over 30 years, beginning at the Naval Radiological Defense Lab in San Francisco, the Pacific Missle Range at Point Mugu and NASA Headquarters in Washington.
Until 1987 he was an Administrator with the Federal Home Loan Bank Board. Following retirement, he continued working as a consultant for some years.
