Amy Abigail Noakes and Charles Edward Midkiff Jr. were united in marriage at five o’clock on June 1 at the Flint Hill United Methodist Church.
The Rev. Merlin Shorb performed the double ring ceremony.
Traditional wedding music was provided by Mrs. Bonnie Williams.
Soloist, Sammy Campbell sang the couples selection.
Floral arrangements were by Donna Brune.
Kym Crump was the wedding coordinator. , The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Edward Noakes and,is the granddaughter of Mrs. Mayanna Atkins, and the late Elmer Jackson Atkins, all of Rappahannock County.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Edward Midkiff Sr., and the late Rhonda Stump. He is the Grandson of Lou McGuinn, all of Front Royal.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a traditional white wedding gown of slipper satin which featured a portrait neckline and short fitted sleeves accented in beaded alencon lace with a scalloped edge. The fitted bodice was molded in matching lace forming a basque waist with a satin bow at the back. The full skirt and chapel length train are edged in matching lace and lace medallions.
Her head piece was a floral bandeau worn at the back of the head with a waist length French illusion veil.
She carried a nosegay of mixed roses, baby’s breath, and wild flowers.
Flowers girls, were A lyssa Crump, Westy Williams, and Olivia Priest. They wore white satin and organza dresses with white satin bowes and headpieces of white minature roses arid baby’s breath circlets.
