Support Group To Meet
Hospice of the Rapidan and Family Care Home Health and Hospice offer a free bereavement support group for anyone who has lost a loved one prior to April 1996. The group will meet 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. each Wednesday, July 17 through Aug. 21 at 1200 Sunset Lane, Suite 2320 of the Mulberry Commons office park in Culpeper. The Rappahannock-Rapidan Community Services Board invites persons 60 years of age and older to participate in the following Health Promotion/Screening Program to be held at the Rappahannock Senior Nutrition Center;

Workshop Scheduled
Experience The Magic presents a drawing intensive workshop with Laurie Marshall will be held 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 27 at Belle Meade Bed and Breakfast. The cost is $35 and includes lunch, materials and swimming. Call John Cloud at 675-1864 to register.
Art Camp Planned
Middle Street Gallery presents its fifth annual Art Camp at the REC Center in Washington. There will be two weeks of camp: Drawing and Painting with Laurie Marshall July 29-Aug. 2 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Call 675-3267 to register. Paper-Making with Nina Moore Aug. 5-9 from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., Call 987-8953 to register. Ages 4-14 are welcome! It costs $30/week or $7/day. The fee includes most materials. Scholarships are available.

Farm Show Scheduled
The Culpeper-Madison-Rappahannock Farm Show will be held July • 24-29. This is the local three-county fair for youth and adults. 4-H and ' FFA members conducting a livestock project for 1995-96 can enter the livestock shows. All youth and adults can enter the other departments:, art, pets, home economics, gardening, flowers, photography, cloverbuds, etc. Catalogs and registration forms are available at the Extension Office.
F.V.F.D. Carnival Planned
The Flint Hill Volunteer Fire and Rescue Carnival is being held July 24, 25, 26 and 27 at the Flint Hill Fire Grounds. The parade will be on Friday, July 26. This year’s grand prize will be a 1996 Cheverolet S-10: pickup. Tickets are available from any member or several local merchants.

Basketball Camp at Highland
Basketball Camp will be held at Highland in Warrenton July 29-Aug. 2 and Aug. 5-9 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., daily. The cost is $75 per camper. The director is Coach Gary Leake, a former basketball coach at Osbourn • Park High School, Rappahannock County High School and Wakefield * School. Camp features included shooting competitions, team tournament competitions, individual skill instruction, free camp t-shirt and awards ceremony. For more information call 347-1221.
