The United Methodist Women met for their annual picnic at the home of Mary Frances By waters on Monday.
Those present were Emory and Gaynelle Russell, Ernie and Thelma Crane, Mabel Lillard, Dougie Bywaters and children, Angie, Matthew and Joshua, Alice Pullen, homer and Artis East, Jack and Mary Curtis, Candy and Phil Lamma, and Merlin Shorb.
Barbara Gentry was taken to the Fauquier Hospital at Warrenton last Friday and on Saturday was transferred to Fairfax Hospital where she underwent surgery.
Bonnie Dodson of Staunton was a houseguest of her son, Gary Dodson and family to be near her mother during her stay in the hospital. Mrs. Gentry returned to her home on Wednesday accompanied by her daughter, Bonnie who was an overnight guest.
