Mr. and Mrs. Ranny Aylor and Mrs. Helen Coffey were Saturday visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Maynard Nethers in Stephens City. Mrs. Dorothy Lewis of Huntly was also a visitor.

Mrs. T.M. Johnston returned home on Friday after spending two weeks with her daughter, Ms. Carolyn Meade, Bethany and Broocks in Johnson City, Tennessee.

Richard Jenkins, Amy Wharton and Amanda of Culpeper and Mrs. Cathy Pullen and Ashleigh of Washington were Sunday afternoon guests of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Jenkins and Angie.

Mr. and Mrs. Tom Klatko along with Mr. and Mrs. Sonny Grim enjoyed dinner at Carmello’s in Charlottesville on Saturday.

The Sperryville United Methodist Church will hold revival services beginning Sunday, September 8 through Wednesday, Sept. 11. A covered dish dinner will be held Sunday evening. Sept. 8 at the Sperryville Fire Hall. Worship services will be led by the youth group at 7:30 p.m. at the church. Speakers for the remainder of the week will be Buck Payne, Grey Armistead and Doug Bywaters Jr.
