Mrs. Joyce Witchie of Broadway and her daughter, Mrs. Mitch Terry have made several recent visits here to see Mrs. Irene Terry. Mrs. Mitch Terry left last Tuesday to rejoin her husband. Specialist 4th Class Terry in Germany where he is stationed.
Mr. and Mrs. Dick Jenkins, Mrs, Dorothy Miller and Mrs. Irene Terry attended a hymn sing in Stanley Sunday evening. Saturday they attended a hymn sing at Dove’s Hollow in Luray.
Mrs. Violet Green spent the weekend with her daughter, Karen Payne in Fredericksburg.
Johnny and Violet Green of Slate Mills attended the Luray Fair on Thursday evening. They were entertained by the comedian, Jerry Clower. Mr. Clower drew a large audience.
