the VDOT crew recently. After the severe weather took its toll, VDOT had to start from scratch to build the road up. Many area residents and emergency vehicles use this road to cut over to Routes 211 and 229. It is tempting to exceed the 40 m.p.h. speed limit, but please remember there will be buses loading and unloading children and pet owners who walk dogs along the road at all hours. Drive carefully.
The Culpeper Girl Scout Service Unit will meet on Tuesday, Sept. 2 at 7 p.m. at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church., Leaders are asked to attend to receive membership packets, information on training and scheduled activities. Anyone interested in starting a troop is invited. -
