A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, August 30, at St. Elizabeth’s Church, 700, Wyckoff Avenue, Wyckoff, NJ. Relatives and friends are welcome to a memorial reception after the service. An interment will be annoudced at a later date at Darlington Cemetery in Mahwah, NJ.
Donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 4217 Park Place Court, Glen Allen, Va. 23060. Arrangements are entrusted to the America Cremation Society, Inc.
Robert Williams
Robert Beverly “Bob” Williams, 52, of Sumerduck, died Monday, August 26 at Fauquier Hospital in Warrenton.
The funeral will be conducted Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Jones Funeral home in Winchester by Pastors Peyton Embrey and Sandy Martin.
Mr. Williams was bom Aug. 20, 1944, in Winchester, son of the late Leonard and Edna Griffith Williams.
He was a carrier technician with Bell Atlantic and a Lutheran.
He was a U.S. Air Force veteran, serving in Vietnam as an airman 1st Class, and a 1962 graduate of James Wood High School.
He was a Morrisville Little League coach for more than 15 years.
Surviving are his wife, Maureen Horsup Williams; three sons, Michael Williams of Strasburg, Shane Williams, at home, and Dale Williams of Amissville.
He is also survived by two sisters, Ann Smith of Fairfax and Evelyn Pitcock of Frederick County; a brother, Donald Williams of Winchester and a granddaughter.
The family will receive friends Wednesday following the service at the funeral home.
