Beahm-Bolen Reunion
The Beahm-Bolen annual reunion will be Sunday, Sept. 1 at the Rappahannock Park on U.S. 211 near Washington. Lunch will be served at noon. Family and friends are invited. Bring a covered dish and beverage. Coffee will be provided.
Drawing Master Class Offered
Experience The Magic presents a “Drawing Intensive Master Class” with Laurie Marshall Saturday, Sept. 14th from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Public House in Flint Hill. The workshop is aimed towards people who have drawing experience and want to explore both technical skills and creative image making. Each participant is asked to bring an object which has personal significance.and a dream. There will also be life drawing. Young people over 10 who are accompanied by a parent are welcome. Bring a sketch pad, pencils and any other preferred drawing medium.
The cost is $35 which some includes some materials and high quality food provided by the Public House. A workshop for less experienced draftsmen will be offered in October.

Benefit Festival Planned
Chestnut Run Village is hosting a festival to benefit the Sperryville Rescue Squad Aug. 30 though Sept. 2. Antiques, pony rides, live entertainment, food, artisans and fun for the kids will be featured. The event will be held just west of Sperryville on U.S. 211. Call 987-7245 for more information.
Yard/Bake Benefit Sale
The Amissville United Methodist Church will have a yard sale and bake sale to benefit the Church Renovation Fund on Friday, Sept. 20 and Saturday, Sept. 21, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. “Come out and support the church and enjoy the bargain shopping,” said an organizer. Karate Classes To Begin
