An Open Invitation For the 36th consecutive year, the Carrigans extend an invitation to all the people of Rappahannock County to spend the evening of July Fourth on the grounds of Avon Hall. Families and groups are encouraged to bring picnic suppers and enjoy the variety of activities from the hill. The -fireworks are provided by the Town of Washington.
