Audiences at the Rappahannock County Library will be experiencing a “Close Encounter of the Wild Kind” this summer as a part of the Summer Reading Program.
The Wildlife Center of Virginia will bring its live-animal program which will include a glimpse into the lives of some of our favorite wild animals to the Library in Washington, Va. on Friday, July 11 at 1 p.m. The Center’s educational programs are a lively mix of stories and anecdotes on wildlife conservation topics, and include a visit by several nonreleasable wild animals. Hawks, eagles, owls, vultures, snakes and opossums are among the wildlife “teachers” that the Center uses in its education programs.
