limited as to what they could tell you and they couldn’t trade from store to store. Like everybody else, they got what they got.
One of those was “Lizzy,” the Lizard. Lizzy came in a blue-back with a yellow belly form and in a tie-dyed version. The tie-dyed version is worth $375 now. Not bad for a $5 toy.
There are those worth more however: “Zip,” the cat, the all black version (except for insides of the ears) is worth $ 1,050; and the Zip which is all black except for the face and belly is worth $225. There’s also the spotless “Spot,” the dog which is worth $1,050.
Betty Pullen, of Attic Treasures in Sperryville, said she had some that were mislabeled and has been told they’ll be worth a lot down the road.
