The Amissville Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad’s annual carnival is currently underway and will continue through Saturday evening. Tonight, Wednesday will be family night, the parade will be held on Thursday, crowning of the queen on Friday and awarding of the prizes on Saturday evening. All area residents are encouraged to support the community.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the families in our community who have lost loved ones in the last few weeks through illness or car accidents. Though there are too many to list, there are never too many to remember.
