this highly evolved method of seed distribution, is it any wonder that dandelions are so successful and spring up everywhere except in deep shade?
Humidity in Virginia during July and August is often well above 70 percent. Then, those seeds that have been drifting in air currents descend to the earth and sprout.
With all that armament for survival, dandelions win my grudging admiration. I still wish they were somewhere else than in my wild flower garden.
