Cadet Michael L. Brown of Washington, was among 172 Cadets who received degrees in May at Virginia Military Institute’s commencement exercises.
Cadet Brown, received his B.S. degree in Civil Engineering was a distinguished military graduate and received a commission as a Second Lieutenant in the United States Army.
He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Brown. Sr. and is a 1993 graduate of Rappahannock County High School.
While at VMI, he was on the Dean’s List, received Academic Stan and was a member of Tau Beta Pi.
