Guests for ten days of Mrs. Barbara Gentry were her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Scott of Ames, Iowa. They visited Mr. and Mrs. W.A. Clemens at Seaford, Va. during their visit here. Last Sunday they attended the Christening of Ann Spotswood and Erin Michelle Dunn, twin daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Dunn at the Episcopal Church at Mineral. The twins are great-grandchildren of Mrs. Gentry.
Susan Scott of Bethesda, Md. joined Mrs. Gentry and the Scotts for dinner at the Public House on Tuesday evening.
Carl Shephard of Fredericksburg was a Monday visitor of Mary Hickerson. Visiting her on Sunday was Clarice Lillard and Shirley Wade of Ashbum. They visited Charlie Lillard at the Sunny Slope Adult Home here.
Merlin and Joy Shorb, Doug Bywaters and Mary Frances Bywaters attended the Virginia United Methodist Annual Conference in Hampton last week. Doug will make a report back to the three churches (Sperryville, Flint Hill and Willis Chapel) on the conference.
