I hope to see you at the Amissville Volunteer Fire and Rescue Carnival being held this week starting on Wednesday, June 24 through Saturday, June 27, with the parade scheduled for Thursday, June 25. I have it from a great source that there will be Beanie Babies raffled and lots of fun and games! Not only will you be having a good time, you will be supporting our volunteer fire department.

There is a two year program offered through the National League of Junior Cotillions (NLJC) which reinforces proper etiquette, appropriate social behavior and skills, and “to treat others with honor, dignity and respect”.
