She was especially excited to have her brother Wayne McGlothlin and sister Sharon Dean, from Wichita, Kansas and Phoenix, Arizona, respectively join family and friends. Sharon will be in town until the 30th; Wayne departs Friday, June 26.
Nieces Angela Dean and Laura Burris of California shared the award for “Greatest Distance Traveled.” Others traveling great distances included Jack and Libby Mutter and Darlene Sanders Maloney’s daughter, Paula Lanier, both of Florida.
“Longest Married” couple was Rev. Gertrude and Mr. James Muddiman, with 52 years, “Oldest” Rev. C,M. McGlothlin , 82. “Youngest” award was shared by Samantha Hope Miller, one month. She’s the daughter of Tracy Gooden-Miller and Shane Miller and granddaughter of JoAnn and Roger Gooden. (It proved to be a long, hot day for the very young and elderly.) therefore Samantha had deposted when awards given at 4 p.m., with Evan Marcus son of Ricky and Melanie Marcus, sharing the awards, he was born Christmas Day.
