Bobby and Sarah Brown and daughter Amanda and Bobbie Jo entertained with a going home party for Lucy Burnham, their exchange student from Australia. Lucy will be leaving Dulles Airport on Thursday, July 9 for her home.
Guests were Mrs. Barbara Slack of Baltimore, Md., Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Beatty and Robbie of Front Royal, Emily Taylor of Sperryville, Mr. and Mrs. Allen Vest and Kirkland, and Ms. Bonnie Cave and Daniel of Flint Hill, Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Brown, Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Brown and Mrs. Edie Falls, Samantha and Robert of Woodville, Nathan Flinchum of Viewtown, Stephanie Kestner of Madison, Mrs. Gretchen Long, Margo Haynes, Ginger Estes, Jessica Estes, Rusty Smoot, Mari exchange student from Columbia, Lannie Morgan, Mrs. Pam Clifford, Ellie Clifford, Megan Clifford, Andrew Clifford, Emily Clifford and Rev. Phil Bailey. Lucy received lots of nice presents and everyone enjoyed the evening.

Mrs. Dorothy Henry of Purcellville, Miss Judy Henry of Leesburg and Mrs. Barbara Slack of Baltimore, Md. were Saturday overnight guests of Mr. and Mrs. Edward M. Clark. Mrs. Slack is staying for a longer visit.
On Thursday Mrs. Sarah Brown, Bobbie Jo Brown and Mrs. Ruth Clark went to Merrymount College in Arlington to pick up Lucy Burnham where she had spent four days attending the World Affair Conference.
Miss Anne Welling of Fairfax Station and Nick Tiscione of Clifton were Monday visitors of Anne’s grandmother Mrs. Jean B. Moffett.
Mr. and Mrs. Sam Snead treated Lucy Burnham exchange student of Australia, Lily Menze exchange student of Germany, Amanda Brown, Bobbie Jo Brown, Margo Haynes and Emily Taylor to pizza and a movie in Warrenton on Thursday evening.
