death of Mr. William A. Williams of Irvington, who passed away last Wednesday, Aug. 18. He was a former resident here, having built a home on Turkey Ridge Road and lived there for 13 years. Condolences are extended to his wife and four sons and all other family members. Mr. and Mrs. Williams had been living at the retirement home, Westminster Canterbury in Irvington.

Mr. and Mrs. Buddy Grigsby were Monday evening guest of Mrs. Janet Peregory and children.

Our heartfelt sympathy goes out to Mrs. Jennie Mae Jenkins and Mrs. Irene Terry and all their family members upon the loss of their brother, Odell Fincham, who passed away in Luray on Thursday and was laid to rest in Etlan Cemetery on Sunday.

The Reva Volunteer Fire and Rescue held their monthly meeting Thursday evening at the Mt. Olivet Baptist Church, White Shop Road, Reva way.

Sara Wagner, a missionary, home from Venezuela was speaker for the homecoming services at F. T. Baptist Church on Route 707 on Sunday.

Auditions for the “Bad Seed”, a French production, to be presented by the Windmore Community Theater, will be held Thursday from 6:30 until 9:30 at the Culpeper Middle School and again on Thursday, Sept. 2, same time and place. Please call 547-2555 for more information.
