Auditions scheduled
The Windmore Community Theater will be holding auditions for “Bad Seed,” a Samuel French production written by Maxwell Anderson on Friday, Aug. 27 and Thursday, Sept. 2. Auditions will be from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m, at the Culpeper County Middle School.
“Bad Seed” will be performed the weekends of Nov. 12, 13 and 14 and Nov. 19, 20 and 21 at the Culpeper County Middle School forum. Evening performances are at 8 p.m. and Sunday matinees are at 3 p.m. For more information call 547-2555.
Fundraiser underway
The Rappahannock County High School Athletic Boosters are beginning their main fundraiser of the year.
For a donation of only $20 you could be eligible to win a grand prize of $1,000; a second place prize of $750 or a third place prize of $250. Prizes will be given away at the last boy’s basketball game in December. You do not need to be present to win. There will be only 200 tickets printed.
Proceeds benefit the athletes at the high school and the athletic department. Tickets are available from any RCHS coach, at any home game or from any of the following Booster Club members: Nancy and Calvin Atkins, Monte and Lisa Clinedinst or Cheryl Taylor.
Epiphany School orientation
Epiphany Catholic School, an interparish school serving the counties of Madison, Orange, Rappahannock and Culpeper, located at Precious Blood Church in Culpeper, announces its Orientation Days for the 1999-2000 school year. Preschool, kindergarten and first through fifth grade programs are offered at Epiphany.
Dates to remember include: Friday, Aug. 27: Orientation Day for grades K-5, 9 a.m. to 12 noon; Monday, Aug. 30, First day of School for grades K-5; Wednesday and Thursday, Sept. 1 and 2: Preschool Orientation Days and Tuesday, Sept. 7, First day for preschool.
