Rappahannock County welcomes a total of 14 new teachers, five new teachers at tfije elementary and middle school levels.
(Holly Massie, Stacy Mforgen and Alice Currin are new seventh grade teachers. Ms. Massie previously taught in Loudoun County. Ms. Currin, a graduate of RCHS, and Ms. Morgen are first year teachers. Ms. Currin graduated from Old Dominion University, while Ms. Morgen got her degree from James Madison University. r> Sherron Boddie, also a graduate of Rappahannock High School, will be teaching sijcth grade. A first year teacher, Ms. Boddie is a graduate of the University of Virginia. „ Shelley Shankle is the new thjrd grade teacher at the elementary school. She taught in Madison County before coming here. ^ In addition to these five ladies, Margaret Dixon has joined the school system as a speech teacher for both ^PTiools. Ms. Dixon is also a first year teacher, and a graduate of James Madison University.
For the coming school year, Rappahannock County High School will have eight new full-time teachers.
Karen Ellis and Valerie Miller will teach business. Ms. Ellis previously taught in Shenandoah and Frederick Counties. Ms. Miller has been running her own business in California.
