Beahm reunion slated
The annual reunion celebrated by relatives and friends of the late George Washington Beahm and Nancy Bolen Beahm will be held at the Rappahannock Park near Washington beginning at 11 a.m. Table covers, eating utensils and coffee will be provided. Those attending should bring a picnic lunch or covered dish and drink of your choice to share. Dinner will be served at 1 p.m.
Artist's work on display
Ms. Eunice Wenger will have her work on display at Middle Street Galley in Washington during the month of September. The opening reception will be Sept. 5 from 2 until 6 p.m., and the show will run through Sept. 26. Middle Street Gallery is open from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. Friday through Sunday.
Soccer registrations still accepted

Family reunion slated
The family reunion of the late Henry T. Wharton and Lillie M. Cloud Wharton will be held at the Rappahannock Park near Washington on Sept. 4. “Family members and friends are invited to attend, bring a picnic basket and join us,” said a spokesperson.
U-18 softball tryouts
Sudden Impact 18U girls fast pitch softball team will be holding open tryouts for the 2000 summer and remaining 1999 fall seasons. Tryouts will be held at Fauquier High school varsity softball field from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 18 and Sunday, Sept. 19. Sudden Impact plays a highly competitive schedule of college showcase and national qualifier tournaments. RoughRide scheduled
The third annual Rappahannock RoughRide will be held at 10 a.m. in Washington on Sept. 18. A charity, “Tour de Rappahannock” with three different routes will benefit the Fauquier Free Clinic, which provides health care for the residents of Rappahannock and Fauquier counties.
