Sometime during the week of Aug. 15-21, someone broke into a residence in the 800 block of Fodderstack Road and stole three items. Taken from the residence, which is a weekend home, were a PhillipsMagnavox 27 inch TV, a General Instruments satellite box and a portable stereo. An investigation is under way.
A larceny was reported on Aug. 22 at a residence under construction on Route 608 near Route 600. Two antique stone benches and two bird baths were taken. The Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident.
An orange and white Stihl 039 chain saw, an extra chain and a blade were noticed missing from a garage at a residence on Route 611 in Amissville on Aug. 11. An investigation is underway.
