John Marshall Clark, 78, of Sperryville died Tuesday, Aug. 17.
Mr. Clark was born April 5% 1921 in Rappahannock County, a son of the late Maurice Gilbert Clark and Susie Anna Atkins Clark.
Mr. Clark was an active cattle farm in Rappahannock and Culpeper Counties.
In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by his first wife, Annie Irene Pullen Clark; two brothers, Chester Clark and Marvin Clark and two sisters, Florene Clark and Sallie Clark.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Fincham Clark of Sperryville; one son, John M. Clark Jr. and wife Linda of Washington and five daughters, Betty Pullen and husband Clyde of Washington, Barbara Wayland and husband Billy of Sperryville, Shirley Baldwin of Pinnacle, N.C.; Rhonda Almarode and husband Randy of Strasburg and Maxie Davis and husband Jerry of Culpeper.
Also surviving are seven grandchildren, John Stacey Clark, Amanda Clark, Debra Knick, Tiffany Wayland, Nathan Almarode and Joseph LeSueur; three great-grandchildren and one brother, William (Billy) Clark , of Culpeper.
