The Amissville Area Community Association meets the second Thursday of each month at the Amissville United Methodist Church beginning at 7 p.m. with the next meeting to be held Sept. 9. Revival services for Jeffersonton Baptist Church began with the 11 a.m. service on Sunday, Aug. 22 with Rev. Alpheus Atkins as guest speaker. Revival will continue through Thursday, Aug. 26, and everyone is invited to come out to hear Rev. Atkins preach God’s work and enjoy the special music with services beginning at 7 p.m. Nursery will be provided.
Registration for Cub Scouts will be held on Aug. 31 at 7 p.m. for boys in first through fifth grades during back-toschool night in the Rappahannock Elementary School cafeteria.
