Spring soccer set
The Rappahannock County Soccer League announces that spring soccer registration has begun. There will be on-site registration at the Rappahannock County Library on Feb. 5 from 10:30 until 1 p.m.
Registration fees are $35 for the first child and $30 for each additional child. Scholarships are available. New players must bring a copy of their birth certificate. Registration forms are also placed at the county library and the main office of Rappahannock County Elementary School. Call the Registrar, Sara Lawrey at 675-1781 with any questions you may have.
Deadline extended
Culpeper and Rappahannock County livestock producers are eligible to enroll in the Livestock Assistance Program (LAP). This program is being offered to compensate producers for losses to pastures due to drought conditions. The sign up has been extended until Feb. 4. For more information contact the Culpeper/Rappahannock FSA Office at 825-4200 before Feb. 4.
