The Amissville Area Community Association will meet on Thursday, Feb. 10 at 7 p.m. at the Amissville United Methodist Church. We are planning a fall festival for this year to celebrate Amissville. If you have any ideas or would like to participate in this project, please call Victoria Miller at 937-4298 or Jan Makela at 937-5718. We are planning to have lots of exciting things.

The Amissville Ruritans will meet on Thursday, Feb. 17 at 7 p.m. at the Amissville Baptist Church. The Tax Seminar will be given by Wanda DeLong, due to the bad weather it was canceled last month. For more information call Vernon at 937-7518.

Okay, lets send some birthday wishes to the following: Carole Smith, Julie Klopp, Lu McBee, Edna Gough, Alice Lawrence, Florine Smith, Betty Settle, Mary Priest, Lorraine Early, John Hitt, Katie Nelson, Hunter Bailey, Michael Moore, Jacob Dawson, Alex Ramey, Ethan Ramey and Gary Hitt who will be 35 on the 13th. I think it’s time for me to do a trade in he’s getting pretty old.

We also have some anniversaries: Rick and Kendra Bailey, Steve and Linda Torrance, James and Doris Sealock, and Ernest David and Dora Gheen, who will be celebrating 64 years of marriage.

Mrs. Doris Donald spent a couple of days with Charlie and Mary Priest last week. And say some prayers for Bertie Hackley and Bob Chandler who are both in he hospital.
