In a photograph, Kathy E. Dwyer, 1975 DAR Good Citizen of Rappahannock County High School, receives her certificate and accompanying pin from Mrs. Biedler Settle of the Culpeper Minute Men Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution. Miss Dwyer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James S. Dwyer of Sperryville, was selected by her classmates and the faculty of her school for “outstanding qualities of dependability, service, leadership and patriotism.” James F. Massie of Amissville and Forest Warden Clifton Jenkins examine a reforestation site on the Massie’s Meadow Grove Farm on Route 729. About 15 acres which have previously been harvested are now being prepared for reforesting. The acreage was controlled burned and will be replanted mechanically.
