C-M-R Farm Fair
set for July 27-31
The 51st Culpeper-MadisonRappahannock Farm Fair will be held Thursday, July 27 through Monday, July 31 at the Culpeper Agricultural Enterprises, two miles south of Culpeper on Route 29.
Beef, Dairy Cows, Dairy Goats, Sheep, Swine, and Home Economics exhibits will be on display 10 a.m. Thursday through 6 p.m. Sunday. Rabbits and Poultry will go on display 4 p.m. Friday until 6 p.m. Sunday.
A barbecue dinner (5 p.m.) and tractor pull (6 p.m.) are scheduled for Saturday, July 29. Super Sunday Family Fun Day starts at noon, July 30 with demonstrations, exhibits and fun for the entire family. Call 6753619 for more information.
RJCCA meeting set
^Land conservation is an essential ingredient in maintaining Rappahannock as a scenic, rural county. But equally important is the type of residential and commercial development that will -occur here in the next few years.
The Rappahannock County Conservation Alliance invites the public to an open forum to discuss these issues and RCCA's current projects next Tuesday, July 25, at the Washington Fire Hall. Refreshments will be provided beginning at 7 p.m., and the meeting will begin at 7:30.
