The Amissville Baptist Youth are getting ready to go to the Youth Evangalistic Conference (YEC) Aug. 3 and 4. But prior to that they have several activities planned. The Jr. Youth (ages 11-13) are going on a scavenger hunt on Tuesday, July 18. The Sr. Youth (agesl4-18) are going on Friday, July 21.
On July 24 the Jr. Youth will go on a progressive dinner and on July 25 the Sr. Youth will go. The community work day is July 27 and the community games day is July 29. The Summer Youth Minister, Courtney DeLong, has several more activities like these planned for the youth of our area.
The youth, who like to be called, The Xtremem Believers, meet on Sunday nights at 6 and Wednesday night at 7. If you would like to join in please call Courtney at 937-6159, all the youth are welcome. They are always having a good time of praise and worship together.
