the foothills in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Shimmering Meadows Farm Studio will offer a four-day workshop devoted to painting the landscape in watercolor and con- 1 ducted by Steve Fleming, nationally known watercolor painter and workshop instructor.
The principles of design will be presented and reinforced to give greater understanding of composition. Each day will cover a different area of design which will be incorporated into the paintings. Students will paint from photographs or sketches made from the landscape around the studio as source material.
