and Ruby Dwyer attended a picnic at the South River picnic ground in the Shenandoah National Park for "The Children of the Shenandoah."
As many of you know, our family lived in the park and it has had an impact on our lives. All our grandparents are buried there. We feel the grounds are hollowed.
We had our tenth annual Dwyer reunion Saturday at the Washington Fire Hall with many relatives attending for their first time. It was a most enjoyable day for everyone.
Willis Chapel, Flint Hill and Sperryville United Methodist Churches will have their annual picnic on July 30 at 2 p.m. at the 4-H Center. Bring a covered dish and come for the fellowship. The swimming pool will be available.
The Sperryville United Methodist Church will have worship service at 11:15 a.m. Sunday, July 23. Everyone is invited to attend.
