Samuel David Alexander, 86, of Woodville died on Wednesday, June 28.
"Dave” as he was fondly called, was a master electrician and president of Chipman Electric Company Inc. in Brentwood, Md.
He was the father of Edward L. Alexander, Stefan D. Alexander, Joann A. Brissey and the late Lynn W. Alexander.
He was the brother of Llewlyn MacDonald Alexander and Ruby M. Sealing.
Father-in-law of Joanne S. Alexander, Karen E. Alexander, Joan L. Alexander and Charles T. Brissey.
Mr. Alexander is also survived by 11 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial services were held on Saturday, July 1 at Peace Lutheran Church in King George.

John Edward Elliott, 84, of Culpeper died July 13.
He was the son of the late William Joseph Elliott and Ada Lillard Elliott of Rappahannock County.
Funeral services were conducted on Monday, July 17 at Preddy Funeral Home in Orange with the Rev. John Farrar. Interment followed in Fairview Cemetery.
Survivors include one daughter, Patty Elliott Woodward; one grandson, Matthew Brett Woodward; three granddaughters and four great-granddaughters, all of Culpeper.
In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by his wife, Elizabeth Elkins Elliott; seven brothers and three sisters.
