Thank you for the nice welcome I have received as your new correspondent. Please continue to call me with your news.

Elder Richard Cox from Thomasville, N.C. started pastoring at the Primitive Baptist Church in Old Hollow on Sunday, July 16. Church services are held every third Sunday. Hymn singing starts at 10:30. Everyone is invited.

Mr. Dennis Ralls has just returned home after having surgery in the Culpeper Memorial Hospital. We wish him a speedy recovery.

Special birthday wishes go out this week to Mrs. Angie Baldwin, Kenny Buracker and Ashleigh Pullen. They will all celebrate their day, July 19.

Mr. and Mrs. Kenny Buracker were Wednesday guests in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Jenkins.

All of you who have not been to Cooter's on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon have really missed some good blue grass and country music.

When Cooter sings "The Wreck of the Old 97" or the song he wrote, "Take me back to Rappahannock", it gives you the feeling of "Days gone by".

So all of you bring your lawn chairs, relax and enjoy an evening of good entertainment.

Cooter will be at the Orange County Fair, Saturday, July 22, but there will still be music at "Cooter's Place" west of Sperryville.

Last Sunday, David Dwyer
