The party was to honor Lillian's father James Jordan, the middle of five children, he was born in Wilson, N.C. He served as a Corpsman aboard the aircraft carrier Langley and at Bethesda Naval Hospital during World War II. He met and married Louvenia Kearns of Ether, N.C. while stationed in Bethesda in 1947.
In the 50's he travelled to West Virginia, Virginia and Ohio for Murphy's dime stores. In 1957 he joined up with Pharmaco Drug Company and moved back to North Carolina then later moved to Covington, La. The Jordans settled in Georgia in 1976. Mr. Jordan is currently working in Real Estate and is
