The Rappahannock Hunt will present Oliver Brown's annual Foxhunting Survival Clinic on Sunday, Aug. 20 at Brandywine Park, Culpeper. ' Join the group for an entertaining and helpful clinic for the green horse, rider, rusty foxhunter or intermediate to advanced riders who need to get ready for the upcoming foxhunting sieason or are just interested jn having a fun day! This clinic is geared to help horse and rider survive in the hunt field.
Oliver Brown and huntsman, Michael Brown, will give a presentation on hounds and hunting during the lunch break. Lunch and refreshments are included.
There will be a beginner, green rider or horse, etc. in, the morning session from 9 to 11 a.m. The afternoon session will be conducted from 1 to 3 p.m. for intermediate to advanced riders. Ring work will be held first and then progress to the outside .courses. Junior riders welcome. Post entries will be accepted.
