This Saturday, Aug. 19 marks the end of the Rappahannock County Library’s Children's Summer Reading Club. Come celebrate reading and check out some new books at the grand finale at 11 a.m. in the library. Refreshments will be served.
Schedule of events: starting at 11 a.m. the folks from the Wildlife Center of Virginia and a few of their furry and feathered friends will present "Who’s awake in the night?" a program featuring nocturnal animals.
After the show, certificates will be awarded for participation in the club and each child will be invited to chose a free book to read and treasure.
