How strong and how steady art tha waves of the sea! Whan we look at the ocean we can know the nature of God's mighty power and love. It is predictable. It Is dependable. We do not question that the waves will always crash upon the sand with the rhythm that has continued from the time that God created the seas.
Perhaps the only question we must consider is that concerning our faith in God and in His Word. Is it as steady and as strong as the waves of the ocean? Does our faith in God shape our consciousness as the waves form the line of the shore? In Isaiah 48:18 God proclaimed, “...your peace would have been like a river, and your righteousness like the waves of the sea.” Aa you worship this week in God’s House, may you learn such j trust in the Master that your faith shall flow with tha strength and constancy of the waves of the sea.
