Several Rappahannock citizens were on hand Saturday to join with about 3000 others as guests of Senator Byrd at his annual picnic at "Rosemont," near Berryville. Notice has been issued from the office of R.V. Snead, receiver for the water system of the town of Washington, that the water supply is getting low in the reservoir and citizens are requested to conserve water as much as possible. There is no danger of water giving out, for if the reservoir gets too low, a switch will be made to the artesian well provided for such an emergency.
