wins Bronze
Sharp Rock Vineyards has just won a Bronze medal for their 2000 Chardonnay Reserve in the Indy International Wine Competition held at the Indiana State Fair July 26-28. There were 2,786 entries from 13 countries.
This is one of the United States’s largest international wine festivals, and was founded in the early 70’s.
Sharp Rock Vineyards is located on Route 707 near Sperryville.
EMT class to
begin in Flint Hill

Tim Kaine town
meeting on Sunday
Tim Kaine, the Democratic candidate for Lieutenant Governor, will be holding an oldfashioned, all-are-welcome regional town meeting this Sunday, Aug. 26. The meeting will be held at the Washington Fire Hall beginning at 7:30 p.m.
