Operations Assistant Smith-Midland Corp. is looking for an energetic self-starter to serve as assistant to the VP of Operations. This individual will primarily be responsible for daily collection of information from department managers and entering this info, into spreadsheets and progress reports. Interaction with production yard supervisors (hard hat environment) on an ongoing basis. Input of production yard employee timecards into system. Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Word a must. Knowledge of Microsoft Project helpful, but not required. Initiative, accuracy and attention to detail is critical. Position also includes periodic relief for receptionist/switchboard, general administrative functions (filing, typing, etc.) and other duties as assigned.
