Barbara Sherwood’s work has the ingredients which make masterful art: strange tension of form, color and placement of objects in space, overall harmony and an ability to put down enough descriptive paint in some places, yet stop at just the nght point to engage the viewer's imaginative, creative and emotional response. This show is a wonderful, inspiring pre*sentation by someone who loves to paint.
