A tiny oil. Fall Jam, 71/2”x5” depicts two jars with purple contents. A beautifully articulated swath of light falls between the jars, casting blue shadows.
Pink Fields is another arresting landscape showing us a rolling meadow of pink paintswards and clumps of purple, yellow, and green vegetation. Wispy painted trees stand on the hill’s crest. The whole scene conveys a fleeting and frail moment of one season’s change to another.
