sisters, Betty Overhulser of Cool Harbor, Fla., Barbara Poe of Warrenton and Shirley Kushner of Gaithersburg, Md. and three brothers, Charles Atkins of Luray, Strother Brown of Sperryville and Julian Brown of Fredericksburg.

In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by a foster daughter, Tonya Dillow.

Funeral services were conducted on Friday, Aug. 17 at Jones Funeral Home in Winchester with Pastor Larry Hickey. Burial was held at the Sperryville Cemetery in Sperryville with Rev. Merlin Shorb.

Mary Elizabeth Mitchell, 87, of Culpeper died Thursday, Aug. 16 at Elder Care Gardens in Charlottesville.

She was born Sept. 20, 1913 in Rappahannock County, a daughter of the late John Floyd Weakley and Bertha Frances Dodson Weakley.
