Music contest
Sisters Michelle and Nicol Feagas, on each side of their mother Pat Kewer, were the 2002 winners in the annual Lion’s Club Bland Music Contest which will be held this year on Feb. 23 at 2 p.m. at The Theatre on Gay Street in Washington. Cash awards are given to first, second and third place winners in instrumental and vocal divisions. Elementary and high school children, and those homeschooled can apply. Applications can be picked up at the Rappahannock Library, the Rappahannock elementary and high school offices and Wakefield School. Contact Dave Hilty 675-2205 for more information.
