Amissville Company seeks members

The Amissville Volunteer Fire and Rescue Company will have an open house on Tuesday. Jan. 28 at 7:30 p.m. for membership recruitment. Concert to be held at Theatre

Lambert Orkis will be playing a five-octave fortepiano with violinist Lisa-Beth Lambert when the two perform in a Sunday afternoon recital on Feb. 2 at 3 p.m. at The Theatre on Gay Street in Washington. Stained glass window

classes start Feb. 4

Stained glass window classes are being offered by DeDanann Glassworks in Sperryville. Six week Tuesday sessions will start on Tuesday, Feb. 4 from 7 to 9 p.m. and six week Friday sessions will begin Friday, Feb. 7 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. Beginners to intermediate are welcome.
