Methodist Church, is again sponsoring their delicious “Steak and Oyster” dinner this Saturday, Jan. 25 from 4:30 until 7:30 p.m. at Madison County Volunteer Fire Company’s new firehouse on Route 29. In the past a number of our area people have greatly enjoyed these dinners. For more information, call 948-6660.
Birthday greetings of the week go out to Lorie Cubbage, who grew older yesterday; Mike Williams observed his day on Monday; and Cathy Tharp will celebrate another year on Monday.
This week is recognized as “National Meat Week” and on Jan. 26 which falls on Sunday this year is “ National School Nurse Day” and school nurses should be recognized and appreciated for the help they give.
